In Search of Oasis

The journey to death
Is truly beating the hell out of me
I have been sinking for years,
In to this Death Valley
Of dry and dusty sinkhole
Burning blisters of pathetic living
Wears the hope of better life
Heavy tramps in the incline of sand dunes
Drag backward mostly rather pushing forward,
Myriad mirages flicker hopes,
And burst them into dismayed tears.
Year by year slips away,
Slope by slope passes by,
I have been slogging around
With sand whirls and thirsty tongue swirls.
These frets and sweats are what for?
Reasons narrow down to meaninglessness:
Money, social status and responsibilities
But in the cost of passionate goals
To achieve meaningful peace and joy.
