Better be Bland

Easy they say:
‘The secret to attract
Things one wants
Is just thinking!’
Thinking, brooding and obsessing
Tried all
But attracted mere distress!
Indeed trusted the mind-power,
As it betrayed,
Now forced to think
What to think!
Mind undulates,
So loses the power,
 Of being greedy,
Excited and enchanted,
Of ONE idea or person or thing.
Scared of scattered goals,
And scrutinized zeal.
Learned a hard lesson,
To be bland
To anything and everything.
Still rebellious subconscious mind,
Works all the fireworks in dreams,
Still consciousness learned to ignore them.
