I’m away from my folk—
I stood quiet amidst the senseless walls!
None cares the screaming of my heart,
I flutter my wings to fly away;
O! My wings are nailed by responsibilities,
Parental and financial bonds…
Pooh! All earthly bonds!
One of my folk crosses me,
Flying and singing joyfully.
I hide myself behind the walls.
I shone as multi-colored plume,
When I was grown amongst my folk
All my colors have worn out—
My identity is lost amidst the colorless crowd.
What a life without sky for a bird!
